The Bottom Line
We want Unsubscribe.ai billing to be clear, fair, and easy to understand.
This refund policy explains when a refund may be available, when charges are generally non-refundable, and what to do if you believe there was a billing mistake.
Unsubscribe.ai is a subscription-based service. When you sign up for a paid plan, you receive access to paid features such as full subscription discovery, dashboard access, cancellation assistance, Cancel for Me, cancellation status tracking, and savings tools.
Unsubscribe.ai reviews refund requests based on the timing of the charge, the reason for the request, account activity, and whether paid features were used.
Refunds are not guaranteed, but we will review reasonable billing concerns in good faith.
A refund may be considered if:
You were charged by mistake
You were charged after canceling your Unsubscribe.ai plan
There was a duplicate charge from us
You were unable to access paid features because of a technical issue on our side
You believe your billing issue requires review by our support team
If you have a concern, contact support as soon as possible so we can review the charge.
Subscription charges are generally not refundable once a paid billing period has started and paid features have been made available.
This may include situations where:
You forgot to cancel before your renewal date
You changed your mind after upgrading
You used paid features and later decided not to continue
You expected every outside subscription to be canceled immediately
A merchant delayed or denied a cancellation request
A merchant required additional information or direct user action
You did not use the service during the billing period
You canceled after the renewal charge already processed
Canceling your Unsubscribe.ai plan stops future Unsubscribe.ai billing, but it does not automatically create a refund for the current billing period.
Unsubscribe.ai's Cancel for Me feature provides cancellation assistance, but it does not guarantee that every merchant subscription can be canceled instantly or without additional steps.
Some merchants may require:
Direct account login
Identity verification
A confirmation email
A phone call
Cancellation through Apple, Google, PayPal, Amazon, or another billing platform
Additional information from you
Completion of merchant-specific cancellation steps
Because merchant rules and timelines are outside of Unsubscribe.ai's control, a delayed or unsuccessful merchant cancellation does not automatically qualify for a refund of your Unsubscribe.ai plan.
Unsubscribe.ai cannot refund charges from outside merchants.
For example, if Netflix, Spotify, Adobe, Apple, Google, PayPal, a gym, or another merchant charges you, that charge must be handled through the merchant or billing provider directly.
Unsubscribe.ai can help you identify and request cancellation assistance for subscriptions, but we do not control merchant billing, refund decisions, renewal rules, or chargebacks.
If you believe a merchant charged you incorrectly, you may need to contact that merchant, payment platform, or your financial institution.
You can cancel your Unsubscribe.ai plan anytime.
When you cancel, your plan is usually set to stop renewing at the end of the current billing period. You may continue to have access to paid features until that period ends, depending on your plan and account status.
Canceling your Unsubscribe.ai plan does not automatically:
Refund your most recent charge
Cancel outside merchant subscriptions
Delete your Unsubscribe.ai account
Delete your data
Disconnect connected accounts
Revoke permissions through Plaid or your financial institution
Those actions may require separate steps.
If you believe you were charged twice or charged by mistake, contact support with the details of the charge.
Helpful information includes:
The email address connected to your Unsubscribe.ai account
The date of the charge
The amount charged
A short explanation of the issue
The last four digits of the payment method, if needed
Please do not send full card numbers, bank account numbers, passwords, or banking login credentials.
If you paid for Unsubscribe.ai but could not access paid features because of a technical issue on our side, contact support.
We may review whether a refund, account correction, or other resolution is appropriate.
Examples may include:
Paid features did not unlock after payment
Your account was incorrectly shown as unpaid
A billing error prevented access
A platform issue blocked your ability to use paid features
This does not include issues caused by incorrect login information, unsupported financial institutions, merchant cancellation rules, or third-party billing provider limitations.
To request a refund review, contact Unsubscribe.ai support.
Include:
Your Unsubscribe.ai account email
The date of the charge
The amount charged
The reason for your refund request
Any relevant screenshots or billing confirmations
Do not include passwords, full card numbers, full bank account numbers, or one-time security codes.
Refund requests are reviewed based on the information available at the time of review.
If a refund is approved, it will usually be returned to the original payment method.
Processing times may vary depending on your bank, card provider, payment processor, or billing platform.
Unsubscribe.ai may not be able to speed up bank or payment processor timelines once a refund has been issued.
If you believe there was a billing error, we encourage you to contact Unsubscribe.ai support first so we can review the issue.
Filing a chargeback or payment dispute may limit our ability to resolve the issue directly through support and may affect account access while the dispute is being reviewed.
Unsubscribe.ai reviews refund requests in good faith, but paid subscription charges are generally not refundable once a billing period has started and paid features have been made available.
Refunds may be considered for billing mistakes, duplicate charges, certain technical access issues, or charges that occurred after proper cancellation.
Unsubscribe.ai cannot refund charges from outside merchants. Merchant subscription charges, renewals, and refund decisions must be handled through the merchant or billing provider directly.
If you have a billing concern, contact support as soon as possible so the charge can be reviewed.
